Welcome to Magic Tower 3D (魔塔 3D) (“the Application”, “the Game”), an interactive 3D retro puzzle role-playing game developed and maintained by Ao Tech (represented by Ao Liu) (“Developer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you download, install, and play Magic Tower 3D on your mobile device (distributed via the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store) or access the game in a web browser.

We believe in fundamental privacy rights and data minimization. Magic Tower 3D does not collect, track, transmit, or sell any of your personal data. All gameplay operations and game progress saving are performed 100% locally on your device.

2. Summary of Key Principles

  • Zero Personal Data Collection: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, IP addresses, advertising identifiers (GAID / IDFA), or biometric records.
  • No Account Required: You do not need to register, create a profile, or link any social media account to play.
  • 100% Local Game Storage: Your progress (current tower floor, player attributes, keys, inventory, monster manual status, and audio volume) is stored solely inside your device’s sandboxed local storage.
  • No Advertisements: The game contains zero third-party advertisement SDKs and zero banner, interstitial, or rewarded video ads.
  • No Third-Party Trackers: We do not embed analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, AppsFlyer, or Adjust) into the game client.
  • Family & Children Safe: Magic Tower 3D is fully compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Information We DO NOT Collect

When using Magic Tower 3D, we DO NOT collect, process, or store:

  4. Device & Network Identifiers: We do not log IMEI numbers, MAC addresses, Android Advertising IDs (AAID), or Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).
  5. Biometrics & Multimedia: No access to your camera, photo library, microphone, or audio recordings.
  6. Contacts & Calendar: No access to address books or personal calendars.

4. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide a continuous and persistent gaming experience, the Application saves your gameplay state exclusively within your mobile device’s private, sandboxed application storage (via Android SharedPreferences / Web localStorage / iOS storage).

This local data consists strictly of:

  • Tower Progress: Current floor number (Floors 0 to 50) and visited floor states.
  • Character Stats: Health Points (HP), Attack (ATK), Defense (DEF), and Gold.
  • Inventory & Items: Number of yellow, blue, and red keys, special items, and equipment.
  • User Preferences: BGM volume, sound effect volume, camera perspective choice (Isometric, Follow, or First-Person), and language selection.

Crucial Note: This data never leaves your device. It is never uploaded to any remote server, cloud database, or third-party service.

5. Device Permissions

Magic Tower 3D requires minimal device permissions to operate:

  • Internet Permission (android.permission.INTERNET): Used exclusively to load local game assets within the mobile application container, or to allow users to optionally open external developer and support links when explicitly tapped. The game does not transmit personal or gameplay data over the network.
  • No Sensitive Permissions: The Application does not request or utilize any sensitive Android runtime permissions (e.g., READ_CONTACTS, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, CAMERA, RECORD_AUDIO, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE).

6. Third-Party Services and Analytics

  • No Advertising Networks: We do not integrate Google AdMob, Unity Ads, AppLovin, or any other third-party advertising SDK.
  • No Behavioral Tracking: We do not use third-party user behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics for Firebase, Flurry, Mixpanel).
  • App Store Distribution: When you download or update Magic Tower 3D through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, your download is subject to Google LLC’s or Apple Inc.’s respective privacy policies and terms of service. We do not have access to your personal Google or Apple account credentials.

7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Magic Tower 3D is a family-friendly retro mathematical dungeon crawler suitable for players of all ages.

  • We strictly comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K) in the European Union.
  • We do not knowingly collect, request, or solicit any personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area).

8. Data Retention, Backup, and Deletion

  • Data Ownership: You have complete and exclusive ownership over your game save data.
  • How to Delete Your Data:
    • On Android: Go to Settings -> Apps -> Magic Tower 3D -> Storage & Cache -> tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data).
    • On iOS: Delete or offload the app from your device.
    • On Web: Clear your browser’s site cookies and local storage for the domain.
  • Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling the Application from your mobile device immediately and permanently deletes all local save files, progress states, and custom settings from your device. Since we do not maintain server-side records, no leftover data remains anywhere.

9. Security of Your Information

Because Magic Tower 3D operates locally on your device without server-side data collection, the risk of data interception, remote breaches, or unauthorized access is fundamentally minimized. All locally stored files benefit directly from the mobile operating system’s built-in application sandboxing architecture.
